Close proximity to the Victoria Clipper.
Sheets never seem to fit the beds quite right.

The Grand Pacific is a great place to stay in Victoria because of its proximity to the Inner Harbor and the Seattle/Victoria Clipper. It is a very clean hotel and the staff is superior to most of the other places we have stayed. I like this hotel better than the Empress for the courteous and friendly staff. ...read more

Great location, overlooking the inner harbor. Staff was very accommodating to infant's needs.

Suite was spacious, with lovely harbor view. Staff was very welcoming to us traveling with a young infant. Excellent service!

Great location, balcony overlooking the harbor and a lovely pool.
The pool change room was being renovated which was inconvenient, shame they could not do this in the off season.

This hotel was an excellent choice for us, very convenient for all the attractions. It was peaceful and beautifully presented. Our room had everything we needed except a fridge (it had a locked mini-bar fridge). The balcony was small, but had a nice view of the harbor The gym was well equipped, the large pool was wonderful with plenty of daylight and no chlorine. There were "adult only" times for the pool. The buffet breakfast which was included for us, was very good, but I would have preferred a voucher system instead of being billed and then credited, which was an unnecessary nuisance. ...read more

Fabulous location.
The tax add-on made this hotel surprisingly expensive.

While the hotel was very nice and luxurious, there were many other hotels in the same area that probably would have cost a lot less. The almost 15% tax in BC made this hotel cost more than I expected to pay. Such information should be included online. ...read more
